Lifetech’s advanced ozone, UV, and LifeOX®-M technologies played a key role in making ZURI Zanzibar the first resort in the world to achieve the prestigious gold EarthCheck certification for sustainable design. These environmentally friendly solutions were developed in collaboration with long-term partner VTI.
The systems treat drinking, pool, and wastewater, emphasizing eco-friendly water management and maximizing wastewater recycling. Drinking water, sourced from boreholes, undergoes mechanical and membrane filtration before disinfection with ozone, ensuring clean, chlorine-free water for resort guests.
Additionally, Lifetech supplied a bottling plant, allowing treated water to be filled into glass bottles, further promoting sustainability. This innovative approach underscores Lifetech’s commitment to delivering clean, efficient, and sustainable water solutions.
